Smackdown House of the Rising Sun 4: Just Folks

Frequent commenter on brother Andy's blog, and first time LITB visitor Roger suggested some new guy name 'o Robert Zimmerman. Before he went electric, Bob Dylan was a folkie. The volume is kinda low on this one, but you can't ignore Bob Dylan, can you?

Joan Baez was the Queen of the sixties folk scene. She still sounds pretty good. She, too, has caught the "House" fever.

Bob Dylan makes me want to slit my wrists. I'm not going to check out that link as I'd like to live another day.

Well, Star, I'm picking up a common theme here: I think we can safely say that this particular Smackdown has been my least popular. Still, got to do the poll. We'll move on to something else tomorrow.

Okay, we choose the smackdown clips? How about famous political speeches? Winston Churchill (fight them in the alleys, fight them on the streets ...); MLK: (I have a dream); JFK: (Ahsk nawt, wot you can do faw yaw cahntry); Regean: (Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall) ... etc.

In honor of our conventions going on this week and next week

Excellent theme, Chase.

Andy, that NOT House of the Rising Sun. And that one puppet looks strangely phallic.
