I promised y'all a slice of blueberry pie. Well, here you go. Actually, it's a blueberry tart. I wanted to use a recipe sent to me by My Friend Amy, but, over the last week I've put an awful lot of my berries on cereal, so I was a cup short. Anyway, this was pretty good stuff. Enjoy.

Pie looks good. Tart, but good.
I'm impressed. You'll make a good wife one day!
What, no sunflower pie?
Dave,
Next time you are this way I will make you my special Key Lime pie.
Or apple, depending when you are here.
And, no tarts allowed.
Pie/tart was really good last night (hot out of the oven with a little vanilla icecream). I know; I'm not supposed to have sweets during the week, Ange, but Davis wanted it.
Star, I love to eat, so I gotta cook. Wish I could tell you it was low-calorie. At least the blueberries are anti-oxidents.
Chase, why would I use sunflowers in a pie? That's what your supposed to do with your four and twenty blackbirds.
Lynne, you got it. AndyMan'll know when I'm down there next (and I try not to discuss my tarts).
Er, what "you're" supposed to do...
Maybe I sent you the wrong link cause the blueberry pie I was thinking of is cold. The crust is the only thing coming out of the oven so it's refreshing in the summer. Guess I have to make one for you just for comparison's sake, though your's does look mighty tasty.
Amy, the recipe you sent looked great, but it required four cups of berries; I only had three cups left after a week of blueberry pancakes and handfuls of berries on cereal every day (and that's after going out and picking some of the last few stragglers off the bush). And I'll happily compare the pies, as you are a very fine cook (Star can do up some cookies, now, too!). Shoot, with friends like you guys, it's no wonder I stay fat ('Course, I do beg for it, don't I?).
