Boo!

My camera wasn't working. I dropped it at Wild Adventures and the video display broke. Pictures, but no way to save the settings or see what I've done until hooking the camera up to the computer (you know, Old School, but with a twist). Then a week or so ago, the lens motor seemed to have broken. Nuttin'. Apparently it just had hiccups and needed to be scared.

I'd imagine that's what he looks like if you're a ten year-old at an ultra...

From Friday's news ...

"Sales of manual — or push reel — mowers with the cartwheeling blades are on the rise this year. Officials attribute the surge to increased environmental concerns because of emissions from gas-powered mowers, the faltering economy that makes the generally less expensive push reels more attractive, and $4-a-gallon gasoline.

"With the way gas prices are going through the roof and are going to stay there or increase even further, that was the main reason I considered one," said King, 29. "I don't consider myself an environmentalist; I consider myself an economist."

American Lawn Mower Co., a Shelbyville, Ind., manufacturer of manual and electric lawnmowers, says sales are up 60 percent to 70 percent over last year.

Wow. People are getting more exercise, using less oil and an American company is doing brisk business. This "War for Oil" is working out better than I thought.

War on Oil? I like it, John.

Ange, I should have something posted in a bit.
