Going, Boeing, Gone!

Looks like North Charleston is getting aeronautical juggernaut (juggernautical?) Boeing's new plant. It's about time the Palmetto State got some good news, as Mark Sanford, Joe Wilson, a huge unemployment rate, tawdry horse lovers, not especially bright representatives at beauty pageants, and various and sundry other issues have given South Carolina a lot to lament of late. It does not appear that the State of Washington is taking the news particularly well, based on the cartoon at left.

I hope this rare win for SC helps our state budget too. It will be great for people to get working again and to see the budget cutting stopped.

Me, too, Diane (and now you know what I did at lunch).

...or maybe that was before work.

And without those pesky unions representing workers' rights, safety, pay rates and such, the sky is the limit!

I'm actually a fan of collective bargaining, Chase, but manufacturing jobs- even a non-union ones- are tough to come by lately.
