Lady Di's been feeding me a little too well this Holiday Season. Cherry pie with a crisp buttery crust. Yum! Oh, yeah, and my daughter, Caroline, made us some lovely chocolate macaroon cookies (Diane got a couple of 'em, but you gotta know I did most of the damage). Now, what to do about the four or five pounds I've packed on...Anyway, I hope everyone's New Year is fun and safe.

Will be watching football w/Russ and Lela----home by 10:30. Should be "safe" enough. "Happy" depends a lot on the game. :) Hope you and yours are also safe and happy and have a splendid 2011. fdb

Frandy, the Noles did great. We watched that one in a sports pub just outside of Orlando. The Capital One bowl? Not so great. But more about that later.
