Scrabble.

Oldest and his girlfriend stopped by this weekend. Got to love kids who'll play Scrabble with you, so we weren't really strict with the rules: "fiatin" and "crun" went unchallenged. Well, they sound like actual words, anyway.

The challenge, provide definitions for Fiatin and Crun ... I'm waiting.

Chase thinks Fiatin is either A- To hang out at the repair shop or B- To buy Chrysler.

While I believe Crun is the residue on the toaster oven pan after you make Toaster Strudel.

We realize we could be wrong and are waiting for confirmation. And Happy Birthday btw! Your present is not yet in the mail, but it's close, it's in the mall, and that's only one letter different!

Classic Family Ties episode ...

"Stephen plays the word "zoquo" by claiming it means "water sports." Alex then plays the word "ooshnu," claiming it means "to towel off." Challenged to use it in a sentence, he says, "After I zoquo, I like to ooshnu."

Andy's definitions work fine, Chase, though I think fiatin is what the twins are always doing. Like, "Will y'all please stop fiatin. I'm tryin' to pay bills". Crun is a hip-hop term meaning to drink so much you can even say "crunk" (kind of like the castle Aaaaaaa in Monty Python and the Holy Grail). Family Ties did rock, dinit? Congrats to you and Ange on your recent Wyoming double-marathon. 53 miles? In a row? Yikes!

Thanks, Kate.

Too fun. Bravo to the person that got "triazine". I'm a little confused about "layor". Is that another hep term that kids use these days?

Davis got that one. Layor was a chicken, as in one who lays (it was Davis' GF, Blair, who got that one).

Maybe Yatzee! is a better game.

Got no quarrel with Yahtzee, John.

Fiatin & Crun: they sound like trendy new foods, or maybe rapper names. See if they got arrested. Food doesn't get arrested unless is on a guy's clothes at the time.
