Father's Day Fallout.
Had the whole crew over yesterday. Oldest made brunch- eggs Benedict with crabcakes instead of Canadian bacon. Yum! The Lads had swept and mopped Saturday night. Caroline actually helped me work on the treehouse. Couldn't get anyone to go to Church with me, but it was still a very good day. 'Course, there be dishes.

Glad you had a great day. Post some pics of the tree house. I love them.
I am trying to find a church that doesn't tell me how to vote and live my life. I don't think that will ever happen.
That looks a lot like my sink after Dad's day. But, oh, boy it was worth it! The Ali-Cat made the most awesome meal for me ever! Pan-Fried Grouper, Cous-Cous, Salad with Goat cheese, it was worth doing the dishes over! Yall, she's 14, I'm ok with her being addicted to the Food network!

Here are your choices of churches. The Episcopal Church, the Unitarian Church or the Church of Satan. They all have their good points. If you like incense and formality and like hanging around rich people, pick the Episcopalians. If you want positivity and liberal dogma, check out the Unitarian Universalists. If you party like you just don't care then the Church of Satan is for you.
Tam, John and I are both Episcopalians. I really like my church. The service is very similar to the Catholic Church. Might be worth stopping in to see if it feels okay.
Ange, my niece Ali is definitely a keeper. Smart, funny, pretty and well-behaved, AND she can cook? You're going to be busting some boyfriend's heads in no time!
I've always liked Flip Wilson's church, the Church of What's Happening Now!
I went to a UU church the other day, the only time I heard Jesus mentioned is when the maintaince guy tripped over an electrical cord in the back... JEEE-ZUS CHRIST, he said.
...and if you want to have a litter of children, then go with the Catholic church. I myself prefer a 'Worship in the Woods' or 'Barefoot Service on the Beach.'
Anyway Superdave, I'm glad you enjoyed Dad's day :)
Funny Stuff, Ange.
Thanks, Star.
