The Rowdies.

Before the Bucs. Before the Bandits. Before there were any "Football" teams in Tampa, there was a Futbol team in Tampa. Sure, there were minor league baseball franchises in the Tampa Bay area: the Tampa Tarpons, et al. But Tampa's first "premier" league sports team was a soccer team. Before Beckham was bending Ginger Spice, George Strawbridge brought in British star Sir Rodney Marsh to spice up the Rowdies. Plus The Rowdies had the wonderful slogan "Soccer is a Kick in the Grass". Good times.

Nobody has cared about the Rowdies in a bloody long time. Move along.

Hey, hey, not so Clown Prince of Soccer! The Rowdies are re-forming and coming back to MSL in Tampa!

Well timed sir, well-timed (unlike my 15-Mile race where Star says she didn't run a 2:17, I say she did!)

Um, I think Mr. Beckham's wife, "Posh Spice" would be pretty pissed off if he was bending Ginger Spice on the side .. just sayin.

So THAT's why Beckham was so indifferent to me at that party! I always did have a tough time with "the Spice is Right".
