My Future's So Bright (I gotta wear shades).

As I was lunching at Zaxby's this week, I noticed an inordinate number of customers wearing sunglasses inside the store. Now, there have always been those who were so attached to their shades that they just propped them up on top of their heads when they left the out-of-doors. My least favorite fashion hit is sunglasses sitting on the rim of baseball caps. If you're a baseball manager at a game, I totally get it. If you're in Zaxby's at noon on a Thursday? Not so much. Anyway, here are some sunglasses songs to pass the time.

See, I understand the sunglasses on the rim or the ball cap. Dude doesn't want to lose them, if he puts them on the table, he knows he will (Davo, you've still got mine right?)

The one I HATE is the dude that wears his shades bass ackwards! He has the eye lenses on the back of his bald dome. That one I don't get.

I don't like this either, BUT better on a cap or "bald dome", than on the eyes inside!!! That always makes one wonder....ummm.

See, the backwards sunglasses is just another defensive Darwinian response...

I got those horse-blinder sunglass inserts after my eye doc dilated my eyes last week. He said I should wear them at work that day or risk being arrested for cocaine use.

Now had I worn them in a more fashionable way, I would have seen my clients laughing behind my back!

The first thing that struck me was that there were more sunglasses songs than that. Shockingly enough, there are not. There is an appalling shortage of sunglasses songs.

Come to think of it, there have not been many rockin' car songs in the last few decades.

Hmm.

The Bobby Bowden shades never go out of style, Star.

You may be on to something there, J.D.

Maybe if I got some of those big old Elton John sunglasses I could wear them on the back of my well-oiled quads for everyone to admire. No, they don't make sunglasses that big, not even for the Best Ever, Sir Elton John!
