I just got a new mower. It's Deere to me. Lots of songs about it, too.

The Greene family in Madison publish the weekly newspaper---have named children Emerald, Kelly, Forest, etc. There is a grandchild named Kevin John-Deere Greene.....I swear!!! (not too sure about the Kevin, but I surely remember the "John-Deere" part!) fdb :)
Also, David, I have a 20 year old John Deere that is STILL mowing. Sarah traded it to Leo in exchange for him building a slide/swing/sandbox/treehouse thingy for her backyard....from scratch, no sets. :)
I was born in Montana, raised in Tampa, and reside in a small town in the lowcountry of South Carolina with the Lovely Lady Di, and son Tyler. Walterboro (the 'Boro) has about 5,100 residents. It's a moderately interesting place. I work in the public defender's office representing poor people charged with crimes. Some of them did it. Some of them didn't do it. Some are not very nice, a lot of them are just regular Joes with a huge plate of bad luck.
I'm a moderately interesting fellow, who has the good fortune to know or be related to some very interesting people. Is there anyone out there?

I do love your Madison stories. Stumpy, Lefty and Shorty? Politically correct? Not so much. Accurate? Indubitably.

Now THAT is a Deere story!
