Pearls for Pun-ishment.

This "Pearls Before Swine" was from Sunday's Charleston Post and Courier (click on the picture, if you can't read it or didn't already see it in your Sunday paper).

Maybe Samuel Johnson was right about puns. Maybe puns are the lowest form of humor; but, God help me, I love 'em.

I KNOW this is too good for Andy to pass up----I saw what you did, David and am waiting to see what he comes up with. You are both champs at puns. fdb

A dubious distinction, according to Mr. Johnson, Frandy; but, thanks.

So, I'm running all around at an autograph show, back when Ms Arthur was alive (she died right?) any way everyone is trying to grab Ms Arthur and her publicist is pushing people away, literally pushing them. And I go over to see what's going on. Hey, why's every one trying to grab Ms Arthur?" I ask.

Her publicist yells back, these idiots heard that Beauty is in the eye of the Bea holder!

People!

Hope I didn't disappoint.
