After a fortnight of criminal court, I'm ready to cut loose. Friday night, Baby! Braves baseball and green tea! Sigh. Braves lost 3-2 in the eleventh inning. Got in a couple of chapters on a Warren Zevon biography. He, evidently, did not spend his Friday nights the same way I do.

Woo hoo!
ReplyDeleteYeah. I know...
ReplyDeleteGo Braves!!! (and take the Falcons with you.)
ReplyDeleteAnd go Cubs !
ReplyDeleteI should have asked John in Il to join me. They took on the Rockies !
It was fun, fun, fun . . .
Braves can't win at home so far this year. And they're oh and one for the games I've watched them.
ReplyDeleteLynne, if the Sawx can win two in three years after their awful drought, then certainly the Cubs are due.
I can count the number of Cubs (Cards, Braves, Rockies, pickateams)games I've watched on one amputated hand.
ReplyDeleteDid you keep the hand?
ReplyDeleteLouie or rightie?
ReplyDeleteI don't know what made me say that. Although this story has been stuck in my head.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you'll live longer as a result.
ReplyDeleteIf I was there, I'm make you replace the tea with red wine. Just as yummy with better after effects.
But you keep gettin' healthy! I'm proud of you.
Interesting story, John. 'Course, we know that couldn't involved Daniel Day Lewis. With him it was all "left feet".
ReplyDeleteI haven't had red wine in forever, Kate. Though it is supposed to be good for you, idnit?
