Alrighty then. I had forgotten just how cruel Archie was (by today's standards anyway.) I mean, he treat Michael terribly!
Girls were girls, and men were men. The only reason I'm not calling you a name frequently used to describe felines is that I can hear the gentle tone of sarcasm in keystrokes. Subtle, oh, yes, but present.
I think you mean "goils wuh goils and men wuh men" ... stifle
I sit corrected.
All in the Family is my favorite tv show of all time. And it isn't tame by today's standards. It actually holds up and bites as sharply. It would never make it on the air today. My dad is a lot like Archie. It's uncanny actually. Except he doesn't treat my mom badly. That's the only and I mean only difference. He's a character.I could watch that show forever. Beats anything before or since.
It really was a wonderful show. Really well written and acted. And bold. Okay, tame by current cable standards, then.
...and my dad was a little like Archie, too (though mom was nothing like Edith).
