Mower, Mower, Mower...
My chilluns got me an old fashioned non-gas-powered push mower for Father's Day. I begged for it, but it was still a nice surprise to actually get it. Took it out for a run today. Verdict: Eh. Seems to do great on the short stuff. Sadly, I got a mini-jungle out there. Looks like I'll have to borrow a power mower again to get the party started. It was still a pretty neat present.
Thanks, John, for reminding me to put in the video.

I've been thinking about getting one of these for cutting Mother's (small) lawn. What brand is it?
And you left off the best part of this post, the video!
Articulo, I think, John. Never heard of it. I think it'll be fine once the stalks are chopped. Oh, and thanks for the reminder re: the video.
I do love that song so much.
Get the cameras rolling, get the action going
And let me know how the mower goes once you get the forest tamed.
Not sure what the video has to do with cutting the lawn...maybe it was a subconscious thought when you saw that chick's hair. I wonder what ever happened to those outfits...fringe, short-shorts and boots. There's nothin' like it.
Wasn't she a porn star at some point? I read that somewhere.
Thanks for giving me something to dance to while I clean the house.
And go with green presents. So nice!
My memories of a push mower ... 12 years old ... get up a good head of steam, push, push, push, push .. then: a pine cone. Blammo, the thing jams up, stops instantly, and I get whacked in the mouth with the handle.
repeat.
Chase, I don't think SuperD has any childhood memories of cutting the lawn, afterall, isn't that what younger brothers are for?
Check out the title, Star: "Mower, mower, mower" (how do ya like it, how do you like it). Andrea True Connection. Yes, Suh!
I do believe she was a porn star at one point or another, Kate. Or so it has been reported, at least.

Chase, I've already had a couple of medium-sized sticks jam up the works. I'm still jazzed about it. No gas. No oil. No pull and pant.
Yeah, I've been meaning to thank you for that, Ange...
Ok, I'll admit this: I've only mowed a lawn ONE TIME in my entire life. Yes, its true. My dad refused to let me mow, giving that job to my older brothers...pushing or riding. The one time I cut grass was for an elderly Italian woman for whom I used to work.
I'm going to make it a life goal to never cut grass again. And that's a goal I think I can reach!
Let's hear it for obtainable goals!
i had a little yard in brooklyn once and used one of those little mowers and it did the job beautifully.
So grass actually grows in Brooklyn, Col? I mean, I knew that a tree or flower or something did, but grass? Who knew?
